Sounds like you are living your dream John. I’m very happy and excited for both of you. Only one question buddy. When was the last time you had a KRYSTAL!

Keep safe and God Bless.

John & Jennifer,

Dixie gave me you web site and it looks like quite an adventure you are on. We attended the Oyster Roast this year with our friends, Janet & Walt who were in the Air Force with us and now live in Dunnellon.

Have a safe trip and take lots of pictures and videos.

Your friends, Jerry & Norma Lanier

By the way, we are down in Marathon in the Keys with my brother Roy and family for 5 days. John, you met Roy a few times at the Oyster Roast in Jacksonville and with Hobe Fleet 111 in the Keys with my close friend, Ron Summers, who passed seven years ago on July 4th.
Roy has his Aquaculture Business in the Keys. I was out on the boat with them yesterday while they went scuba diving for his Lab, but today I am just chilling with beer and a book. LOL

Lady J–looks like you and Mr. J are outside of Georgetown today. Have a great and wonderful time. My t-shirt size is large, as is my appetite for rum. Make my t-shirt green to match my envy.

Hope you are having a spectacular and safe trip!

My wife and I are down to 471 days until we take off for the Great Loop. We should have our Trawler in the Spring and we will have about a year to get used to her and maybe run to the Bahamas too. We are both 53 and I have retired already. Got to live everyday! and LOVE that your making it happen. We are in Jacksonville FL so maybe our paths will cross down the rivers somewhere. Best of luck to you.

Jennifer December 16, 2014 at 9:55 am

Thanks so much for sharing your plans! We have friends that did the Great Loop in 2010. Their blog is http://lennonsloop.blogspot.com/ They helped motivate us to persevere and make this trip a reality. Look forward to running into you in the future!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
– Mark Twain

I’m ssoooo happy for you both, making your dreams a reality. Looking forward to following Lady J on her new adventures!

“I’m sailing away,
Set an open course for the virgin sea,
‘Cause I’ve got to be free,
Free to face the life that’s ahead of me,
On board, I’m the captain, so climb aboard,
We’ll search for tomorrow on every shore,
And I’ll try, Oh Lord I’ll try, to carry on.” ~ Styx

Kelli Smith October 4, 2014 at 4:40 pm

I’m so happy and excited for you both! Selfishly, I’m a bit sad that two of my favorite people will be so far away, but I’m confident we will see you over the next couple years and make some more incredible memories. I truly treasure our friendship! Be safe, healthy, and most of all, happy. Love you! Kelli. (P.S. Think of me when you’re drinking “blottles” and eating s’mores!)

Neal Smith October 4, 2014 at 3:01 pm

John & Jennifer,
I feel honored to be the first to sign your guestbook! Through the years we’ve known each other, we’ve grown, matured, learned, and laughed. You two have been a great influence to me and have always been there through thick and thin. I’m both excited and envious of what your future holds. Maybe Kelli and I one day will be able to share a similar adventure. Go out there and seize the days, & keep good notes so we can learn from you! Have a blast and please use the website to communicate so each and every one of us can live through your eyes. All the best…Neal
